What Sets You Free?

The WYCC is hosting a Virtual Art Exhibition, submission deadline is April 2nd.
This virtual exhibit aims to raise awareness of the importance of caring for our mental and emotional health, and to launch discussion about understanding our emotions better and seeking help when we are struggling.

For many participants, this art exhibit can be an opportunity to express complex emotions through creative expression. You know what they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Let's challenge that to make it worth a million words.

This virtual exhibit is open to everyone in middle school and older living in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. All accepted submissions will be displayed at the Waterloo Youth City Council website, social media, and sorted by age groups. Click on the buttons below for flyer and guidelines or to submit your artwork.

By submitting your artwork, you are certifying to the Waterloo Youth City Council that you are the exclusive owner of the artwork and that it is an original piece of art.  You are further authorizing the Waterloo Youth City Council to use and publish your artwork.
